Empty Always Wants A Refill

I saw this quote the other day… “Empty always wants a refill”. This really hit home for me. If people see favor and overflow in your life and they are empty, they will try to pull from you. Do you ever feel like people are always needing you to do something for them or always asking you for something, but it seems that most people don’t give anything back ? This is how I feel sometimes. I have had to learn to say NO sometimes. I love myself enough not to let others use me. I mean, I do not mind helping people, in fact, I love to help others, but when it turns in to a constant burden, it’s a problem.

Moral of the story : Learn to love yourself enough, not to let people use you. Helping people is wonderful and a blessing, but don’t let people burden you. If something or someone is spiritual, emotionally or physically draining you, that relationship or connection is unhealthy. Baby, learn the gift of goodbye.
